Description:
Discover spectacular and natural features in and around the Bella Coola Valley in the heart of the beautiful Coast Mountains.
Whether you want to learn about trees, plants, forests, ecosystems, glaciers, geology, weather, volcanoes, mountains, oceans, rivers or wildlife, Doug can help you find the answers.
In the valley or up to the plateau in Tweedsmuir Provincial Park there are easy, moderate and difficult trails that can accommodate your ability and your goals. Choices range from flat, widely groomed valley trails to steep mountain trails and routes accessed by highway or logging roads.
If photography is your goal, Doug can assist you in your search for that special moment or location.
Doug has 13 years of guiding experience in the valley. He can help you meet your goals and expectations and will ensure your safety and comfort.  Doug is First Aid certified.  The 2008 4 X 4 Double Cab truck is great to travel the highway on or access the backcountry in.
There is plenty to excite and inspire. Waterfalls peak from May to August.  Salmon start spawning in late July and then bear viewing begins.  The Valley is steeped in glacial and cultural history.  Wildflowers peak from May to July in the valley and in the alpine from July to August.
Educational and healthy!
