Where To Stay

A stay in the Bella Coola Valley is enhanced by the accommodation. While the sparsely populated Valley does not boast sprawling, five-star resorts, it has a welcoming variety that ranges from Lodges and Inns to charming B&Bs, and campgrounds. In the town of Bella Coola, book into a hotel or a riverside unit. Turn off the highway, to find well-appointed cottages with phenomenal mountain views. Stay at a cozy B&B tucked into a luxuriant garden beside a river. Enjoy large rooms at a lodge where dinner is served and ferry pick-up is available; stay in a park-like setting and take cooking lessons from a former chef or book into a guest house where the young owners run an adventure company.

There is a total of 139 rooms to choose from plus 174 campsites; 101 accommodate RVs. You will find the four campgrounds well equipped for RV units, some have cabins available and, in each case, the setting is unbeatable.

Accommodations book quickly in the Valley on scheduled ferry arrival and departure days so be sure to book your accommodation in advance.

In the Valley you will find that everything is an easy drive to get to, yet feels invitingly remote and close to wilderness.
Mountain Goats become visible in the Spring as they work their way down from the high country along established cliff trails to forage on fresh vegetation. At times, they can be seen on the valley bottom in the Firvale area.
