Bella Coola By Air

Pacific Coastal Airlines flies daily from the South Terminal of Vancouver International Airport to Bella Coola Airport year-round and twice per day in the summer. It also provides charter flights. Northbound flights are normally direct to Bella Coola -- flight time approximately one hour while southbound flights usually make a quick stop in Anahim Lake before returning to Vancouver.

Charter flights are also available with Bella Coola Air and West Coast Helicopters.

The Bella Coola Airport is on Highway 20, 12 km (10 mi) east of Bella Coola. Private planes and helicopters can land at the airport. There is no requirement to phone or radio ahead to land a private plane at the Bella Coola Airport, nor are there fees. For information phone the Central Coast Regional District, 250 799-5291.
